I’ve read a lot of fantasy so some of the top most mentioned series are out.
To clarify what I’m talking about I think things like ASOIAF and First Law hit better in the Fall/Winter. They’re a little more grim and darker. Less open fields and more muddy war camps.
Things like Stormlight or Wheel of Time fit the Spring/Summer vibe to me more. Things with epic outdoor backdrops and nature.
I know this is not a very concrete thing so open to any and all suggestions!
My favorite fantasy books I’ve read are all of Brandon Sanderson’a works, Wheel of Time, ASOIAF, First Law, Kingkiller, Broken Earth. I’m halfway through Malazan but taking a break since I’m enjoying it but reading a bit slower on it then I usually do.
