I’m going through a heavily deep depression, going to therapy, but I want to try to surround myself with positive content, including the books I read.
I’m looking for books that discuss, with scientific basis, the process of changing a negative mindset into a positive one giving tools and well-informed opinions on the process.
I’m not a fan of doctrine heavy books or things that talk about abstract concepts like energy and manifesting I’m more prone to accept books written with research support.
I realize a lot of books that talk about happiness revolve around Faith or spirituality but I’m looking for something more inclined towards psychology.
Hopefully a book meant for beginners since I’m not really a self-help book reader. Thank you!
