I’ve read Good Omens 16 times, and I haven’t read anything but it since January. And now it’s May. I would love to find something new to read, but Good Omens tied together my interests in such a way that every other book I try to read becomes uninteresting. So um. Help would be very, very appreciated.
Here’s some things I like & don’t like in books:
LIKE: Humor, religious elements (especially a heaven/hell dynamic), enemies to friends, lovers, or just Tolerating Each Other, queer couples (or queer coded, I’m desperate), dark subjects & undertones/general spookiness, and older, real-world settings with fantasy elements. You can probably tell why Good Omens is the only thing I’ve read for months.
DISLIKE: Humor that relies on embarrassment, romance as the main plot, and references to popular media.
Or just throw any book you’ve liked at me, I’m seriously desperate. Thanks in advance if you suggest a book, and here’s to hoping I can find something new to read 🙂
