Hi! I’m 22 years old and in a few weeks I’ll be moving across the country to a very rural area for my job.
I won’t have any friends yet or really anything to do other than my 9-5. so I’m looking for a series to read that will keep me busy & engaged, and help with some escapism.

I prefer books that don’t have slow starts (I need to be engaged right away or I will literally not open the book again).

Sidenote: I’m not interested in any Colleen Hoover books.

      Romantic comedy okay?

Annika Martin’s Billionaires of Manhattan series has it all (I personally think). Plus you’ll kinda know if you’re gonna like it by the first page.

Another idea – Jayne Castle’s paranormal Ghost Hunters series is consistent from book to book, and it’s easy to jump in with any book. They typically start right in with the FMC and MMC interacting.
