I never read romance before but I liked the dynamic between Haida and Retsuko. They both had flaws and worked on themselves. Any suggestions? I also welcome WLW
Additional requirements
* Both are working class adults, at LEAST age 25. I don’t want to read young adults
* Adult fiction, obviously
* Female protagonist is gentle/sweet (I don’t like confrontational personality)
* Male (or second female protagonist) is aloof, possibly insecure but well intentioned (I despise the sexy cool guy trope)
* No detailed sex. I find it uncomfortable to read.
* No Fantasy. Modern setting please.
