Really enjoy the format and style of books like this, the character study of a community or town, spanning a number of years.
I’ve already devoured Richard Russo’s Nobody’s Fool and Elizabeth Strout’s Olive Kitteridge books. This trilogy by Kent Haruf is very similar to those. I’m sure there must be other reads out there that I’d enjoy but don’t know what term to use to search for them in library catalog, libby, good reads, etc. Is there a descriptive term for this genre?
