Hi r/suggestmeabook!
My wife and I will be heading on a trip along the Danube river this summer through Bavaria, Austria, Slovakia and into Budapest. We both like to read books set in or about the places we visit.
Fiction and nonfiction are welcome in equal parts.
A couple books I’m looking at:
* “Budapest: Between East and West” by Victor Sebestyen
* “The Middle Kingdoms: A New History of Central Europe” by Martyn Rady.
Beyond that, I’ve had mixed luck coming across possible books that catch my interest at first glance.
Thanks in advance!
