So for people who both listen to audiobooks and read books in paper or electronic forms and also have favorite books that you revisit every few years or so, I’d be curious to hear what role the different formats play in how you revisit them.
For example are there some books where your personal experience reading it is so important that you would never listen to another person narrate it? Or did you experience some books with a certain narrator first that you feel reads it so perfectly you can’t imagine going through it any other way. Have there ever been any books where your preferred format switched, or where you’ve appreciated the differing experiences of both, or even found different narrators of the same book enjoyable in different ways?
I’d be curious to hear anything people have to share about how the two formats affects books you revisit or if there are any specific books you feel are especially good to revisit in one format over the other.
