I’m a 22M looking for some potential audiobooks to use my stockpile of audible credits on. So far the only books I’ve been able to get through on audible have been Stephen king books(The stand, The outsider) the color purple, and I’ve made it about halfway through 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I love horror books especially sci-fi horror so I’d love some recommendations there, but what I’m mainly looking for is some interesting more easy reading books that aren’t going to bring me down to listen to. Im not a huge fan of romance, and I’m a big sci-fi fan(not Star Wars or Star Trek but more like Dark(German Show), Dune or Alien),
I also like fantasy but I’m struggling to find more serious fantasy that isn’t geared towards kids but also isn’t super duper dense to the point where I’d rather just read the physical book. I also wouldn’t mind books that include gay characters but aren’t all about said characters being or gay or the struggles they experience for being gay.
TLDR:
-Fantasy audiobooks that are more modern and that are easy to get into
-Sci-fi Horror Books especially ones like alien,
-sci-fi books that are easy to listen to and are easy to get invested in kind of like 1Q84 or German TV show Dark but not like Star Trek or Star Wars,
-Just generally interesting audiobooks you’d recommend
