Hi all! I have Kindle Unlimited for a bit so I’m looking for recs available there! I’ve been on a big “creepypasta”/stories narrated from various paranormal or writing subreddits kick, so I’m looking for paranormal reads to capture a similar vibe. Anything relating to paranormal/cryptids/urban legends/supernatural, etc. basically.

Paranormal mysteries are probably the closest thing to what I’m looking for! Or at the very least, something that feels so paranormal, even if the ending is revealed to be a regular person or whatever (like Scooby Doo.)

Otherwise, I’m also up for Science Fiction-esque stuff that could be similar to Jurassic Park or the Meg.

Plot wise, it doesn’t matter a whole lot. If the writing and setting is captivating enough to me, I could read “journal entries” that follow a cryptid/supernatural explorer or ghost hunter.

Some books/other media I’ve liked that I think capture a similar vibe to what I’m looking for:

    -Jurassic Park

-The Ghost Writer by Loreth Anne White (Not paranormal, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and how the short story came together.)

-Haunting in Venice (Spoiler for movie:>!I know this isn’t paranormal, but this is more so what I mean by heavy paranormal associations. The atmosphere and setting was great!!<)

-Nancy Drew (Read every book I possibly could and played a few of the games. Loved them. I especially enjoyed Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake & Curse of Blackmoor Manor.)

    -Goosebumps

-A lot of those stories that involve someone working as a park ranger or in a fire watchtower and some supernatural stuff happens. There was also one story that was pretty decent where the dude worked at a radio station during the night shift. So I’m open to more than just “deep secluded forests” settings.

I did do multiple searches for books like these, but the majority of what I found in older threads isn’t available on Kindle Unlimited.

Thank you in advanced for your suggestions!
