i’ve always loved romantic books and fantasy books, and i definitely had fun with the acotar series, but i feel like everything i’m finding right now in the genre doesn’t prioritize prose (which is fine! just not what i’m looking for personally)- i’m looking for something with genuinely good, beautiful writing (i’m a fan of holly black, neil gaiman, etc.) but also am not above a fun enemies to lovers romance. a lot of what i’m finding now, even popular stuff like fourth wing, just isn’t quite what im looking for. any recs for something that scratches the romantasy itch but also feels literary with outstanding prose? thanks!!
