Hi! Looking for a new book to read/listen to. I’ve been really into memoirs and was curious if anyone has any good recommendations. I’ve read/listened to quite a few so far and really enjoy when they’re narrated by the author also! Thank you in advance!

Finding Me by Viola Davis
I haven’t listened to the audiobook myself (but I heard it’s fantastic and done by the author) but I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jeannette McCurdy was an absolutely fantastic read. It’s all kinds of dark so definitely look up some content warnings, but it’s a fascinating look into the dark side of kid’s TV shows. The best memoir I’ve ever read honestly.
Some of my favorites:
Dear Leader.
Seductive Poison.
Infidel.
Educated.
Son of Elsewhere by Elamin Abdelmahmoud is beautiful and the only time I’ve wept over the description of a highway.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, Seth Rogen’s Yearbook is hilarious and just plain fun.
Fat Girl by Judith Moore. Short but memorable and breaks your heart wide open
If you’re into scifi, check out my novel, The Vital Link, on Amazon! (Shameless plug, I know)
