Want to get started on reading again

I’m a highschooler who has really bad writing and reading skills as well as focus issues and I thought reading against would help. The reason I stopped before was because it was hard to get interested and wasn’t enjoyable for me. I like reading fiction and the last book I really like reading was the Ready Player 1 series. Can I get some recommendations?
