im having trouble adjusting to the fact that when u get out of high school, life can look like…REALLY different for everyone and seeing my peers do things i am probably not gonna experience for a while is trippy😭
itd be nice if i could read a book where the protagonist is considered a failure (in any aspect of life like work, relationships, education, etc.) and also kinda acknowledges it but maybe feels like its inevitable?! im currently reading permanent record by mary hk choi and really enjoying it, it would be perfect if the mc was a female instead tho so i could relate more tbh but im not actually picky! also is prefer more contemporary kinda novels but i am also willing to explore any genre!
i hope this doesnt come off weird at all, i just find it comforting when im able to relate to someone without having to actually open up to them (which is why books r perfect bc they have my thoughts but none of the confrontation LOL)
