I’ve been trying to get into reading books because I haven’t done that in a long time and it would probably be good to read at least something. Just haven’t been able to really make a good start on it. I’m not entirely sure why but maybe I’m just overly picky? As a ‘young adult’ I’ve always been recommended books that fit that genre, but when I read them, they always seem to deal with ‘teen problems’ that just seem, like, really trivial? Like I could not care less about that one character’s romantic relationship or how distraught they are about some sort of breakup. Maybe it’s just because I’m used to the kind of storytelling from video games like Hyper Light Drifter and Signalis which take time to dissect. If you’ve played those games you might have some idea of what I’m talking about
