I recently read (listened to) *Femina: A New History of the Middle Ages* by Janina Ramírez, and I am looking for more books like it. This feels somewhat niche, but I’m looking for audiobooks reexamining the role of women, preferably in the European Middle Ages but I’m open to other cultures/eras.
Other books I’ve read that fit into the feel that I’m looking for are *Women’s Work: the First 20,000 Years* by Elizabeth Wayland Barber or *Powerful Women of the Medieval World* by Dorsey Armstrong (technically a Great Course). I have also already read *The Secret History of the Mongol Queens* by Jack Weatherford.
