I am just bouncing with elation tonight: one of my adult ESL students – who could barely do a page of an easy-reader version of “Dracula” 4 years ago – just made the most incredible parallels between “Lord of the Flies” (we’re nearly done) and “Game of Thrones” especially how Piggy is the equivalent of The Hand of The King.
This is truly a “WOW” moment for me, and I am so, so impressed with the effort and progress he has made since he started. And yes, I told him all of that 💕
