Hello all and thank you in advanced. My friends and I have had a book club going the past few months but summer time is most of our busy season (all various work fields) and this month most of us didn’t finish our book. We’re looking for something light or a collection of short stories or essays so everyone can complete it reasonably in their free time. We’re all pretty busy guys and have varied interests but we all like knowing how things work and have most been reading nonfiction and other things like that. We’re not opposed to fiction but while some of us like fantasy/sci-fi others of the group don’t so any fiction we’ve discussed has been in the vein of classics or modern acclaimed fiction like Cormac McCarthy etc
Our choice of books thus far they have been:
Man’s Search For Meaning by Viktor Frankl
Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall
The Things We Make: The Unknown History of Invention… by Bill Hammack
I’d be happy to help answer any other questions
