Looking for something to read with dragons as characters ( meaning that dragons have to be able to speak and shouldn't be some mindless war machines or shouldn't be some mindless beast the main character has to slay)
Dragon should be relevant to the story and if the dragon is a villain it should have a lot of presence in the story.
Preferably something rather epic like high fantasy and not some child book about good dragon friend.
Also nothing related to Eragon. Already read them.
