Hi,
I am considering between MeMoir of A Geisha (MAG) and Geisha of Gion (GG). I just finished the movie, however, after finding out about the scandal I don't know which book to choose.
May I ask the difference between the two books? Which one is better in your opinion?

Memoirs of a Geisha is a work of fiction. Geisha of Gion is the memoir of the woman who inspired Memoirs of a Geisha. Do you want to read a romance story of do you want to read a real person’s life story? I read and enjoyed both; frankly I don’t see why it needs to be either or.
