I really love watching movies, particularly comedy, drama, adventure and animation, and the popular culture surrounding movies, and I would like to read some non-fiction books about cinema. Not really ones about camera techniques, editing, etc, but just about the making of movies and the history of the industry. I’m not a filmmaker but I like the history of it. I’ve already had a look at Roger Ebert’s books, and might get some of those, and I also like the “X amount of movies to see before you die” sorta books as well.
