Looking for books about history you don’t often learn about (or star wars)

So I've really been getting into reading again in the last year and so far I've read most canon Star Wars books. Recently though I've been getting into non fiction history like "Prequel an american fight against fascism" and "African Samurai: The True Story of Yasuke" so if you have any similar suggestions in non fiction or something similar to Star Wars let me know.
