Great books that have been made into great movies/shows

Love reading a book and then getting to spend more time with it in a different medium. Sometimes it’s great (Ted Chiang’s short stories/Arrival is always my go to example, but there are plenty), sometimes it’s… not. This post is inspired by a recent read and watch of Killers of the Flower Moon but my tastes are hugely varied so no bad recommendations, as long as both book and film/show are top tier.
