Suggest me a good romance please! Something emotional and exciting, a page turner! Not young adult!!
Something that will evoke emotion in me! I can’t seem to find a single book that interests me lately. Maybe bc I just finished Bridgerton and was obsessed with it hahaha.
Romance is a genre where tastes can vary a *lot*, so I’ve tried to pick a broad spectrum of books covering a bunch of different subgenres and a few different relationship types – that way, you’re more likely to find something you like in these recs. These are just a few of my favourites 😊
– *Pride and Prejudice* by Jane Austen (also *Persuasion*, that’s my second-favourite of her books, and all the books are so much better than the movies)
– *Delirium* by Lauren Oliver >!(but please be aware that this is the first book in a trilogy, the ending of the first book is sad, and the ending of the trilogy as a whole is ambiguous)!<
– *Writers & Lovers* by Lily King
– *You & Me* by Tal Bauer
– *Red, White & Royal Blue* by Casey McQuiston
– *Winter’s Orbit* by Everina Maxwell
– *Love Stories* by Trent Dalton (non-fiction in a short story format but very very good, I’ve never read anything else like this)
