Pacific Rim with a bit more romance?

Looking for something like Pacific Rim but with more romance and hopefully a happy ending.

I recently read Pacific Rim Uprising: Ascension and hate what they did to Raleigh and Mako.

I've read Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao and loved it but I'm looking for other novels that are similar before I run out of Fan Fics to read, haha. (I'll aslo take FanFic recs where Mako and Raleigh get the happy ending they deserve.)
