Hi there,
I’m looking for a book, possibly Sci-fi but doesn’t have to be, that has amazing world building, but not spanning whole galaxies or even planets. Books that take place within the confines of a city or town or region, that get into detail about the places themselves, the streets, buildings etc. and the way the society of those places function. Bonus points if there’s something uniquely different about how the society works, and how the mechanics of that society’s functioning affects the story.
