Suggest me a book that has poignant and touching moments/lines, without taking itself too seriously.
For reference (though these don’t all meet the above brief), some books I’ve liked include: Ender’s Game, Shantaram, Where the Crawdads Sing, The Kite Runner, Hitchhikers Guide, A Fortunate Life. Currently reading A Fraction of the Whole by Steve Toltz

The discworld books are deeply silly but also profound
The Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells. It is a series and starts with All Systems Red. The main character is a very sarcastic android. Funny, fastpaced and moving at times.
Three men in a boat (to speak nothing of the dog)
Anxious People by Fredrik Backman. Lots of silliness but the character development is incredible
Connie Willis is great at writing poignant and funny in the same book. Watch out: some of her books are very light (Bellwether, Crosstalk, The Road to Roswell) and others are very serious (Passage, Doomsday Book, Blackout/All Clear) but they all have this combination.
