I’m doing a reading challenge with a prompt called “live in infamy.” Here’s the description: “about or inspired by an infamous figure in history (fictional history counts too)”
Some ideas I had were:
Caesar’s Last Breath
Dead Presidents
The Secret History of Bigfoot
King Leopold’s Ghost
…But none of those are available as an ebook at my library.
Does anyone have another rec that would fit the theme?

What kind of books do you normally like to read? The two that come to mind that feel like they have very different vibes are From Hell (a graphic novel about Jack the Ripper) and the Alexander the Great trilogy (Fire From Heaven, The Persian Boy and Funeral Games) by Mary Renault.
Lucy Hughes-Hallett, *The Pike* (biography of Gabriele d’Annunzio, who you might see as the man who invented fascism),
The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson is about the killer H. H. Holmes. It’s nonfic, but reads like a novel.
