I want part of the book to read like a Hallmark movie: life is like a perfect Fall day, everyone is happy, and things just work out in the end.
The other part of the book is more like A Serbian Film: life is dark and gritty and unfair, there are few innocent bystanders, and basically everything and everyone is f*cked.
Anything out there remotely like this?

Just wanted to drop a comment to say if you haven’t seen A Serbian Film, just…don’t. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this movie.
