Books that have the feel of Magic: The Gathering Plains cards’ illustrations? Loved The Tartar Steppe

Just read The Tartar Steppe (also translated as The Stronghold) by Dino Buzzati. Cannot describe how much I loved it.

I CANNOT get the idea out of my head that the vibes of the book are straight up MTG Plains illustrations. Wide open, desolate, almost agoraphobic warped senses of scale.
