hi! so i recently got done listening to the catherine, called birdy and the midwife's apprentice audiobooks. now I'm desperately craving the same medieval (preferably non-fantasy) vibe from other books as well. here's some pointers for the book I'm looking for:
- medieval setting book
- has to be in audiobook form since I listen during work (non-negotiable)
- preferably some romance
- female main character
- something mildly popular so that I can find it easily and can look up other people's thoughts on the book as well (this is not a must have but it would be nice!)
- needn't be a children's book, 18+ is okay too
- preferably non-fantasy but I wouldn't be too opposed to it so long as I don't have a lot of lore to remember. I don't want the fantasy to take away too much from the cost medieval vibe I'm looking for.
