Hi all, it's been a very long time since I've done much reading (depression sucks) and I finally feel ready to ease myself back into it. Would ideally love some short story collections with SciFi / fantasy / horror / supernatural themes, something captivating but not too much of a time commitment.
Thanks for your help!

If you’re looking for short stories with some sci fi and fantasy themes you really can’t go wrong with Ted Chiang. He’s a master of short fiction and I massively enjoyed both of his collections, Stories of your life and others, and Exhalation.
If you’re looking for something a bit different I would recommend Hidden Stars and Invisible Planets by Ken Liu, he’s translated and collected a bunch of sci fi from Chinese authors. I feel like they offer a really fresh take on the genre and I loved both collections.
If you check those out and they don’t really seem like your thing let me know and I can recommend some others.
