Hi Guys. I understand this feeling may never be achieved again, as I am now an adult. But I'd like to be lost in a book, or a series of books, as I was when I first read Harry Potter. The feeling of wonder, that feeling of being sunk into a more exciting world, being completely enthralled by every piece of the story, and every character. So much so, that I don't want to put the book down. Sleep, or lack of sleep being the only thing that stops me reading.

If you have any books that gave you a feeling similar to this, please let me know. Thanks 🙂

If you want more YA I really loved The Aurelian Cycle series by Rosaria Munda. It’s not necessarily like Harry Potter but it did really draw me in.

A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik is really popular and also set in a school for magic.

The Magicians by Lev Grossman is also set at a magical school.

The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan is older but my current obsession. I love the characters, I love the world, it’s nothing like Harry Potter but I don’t think that I’ve been this obsessed with a fantasy series since I read Harry Potter.
