Can You Recommend Books Similar to The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly

I have read both "The Book of Lost Things" and its sequel "The Land of Lost Things" and love them both. I'm looking for books that are similar in plot and tone (one that I read was the novelization of Pan's Labyrinth).
