I’d recommend dystopian books they’re very easy to get into (way easier than fantasy) but still really entertaining – You could read Hunger games, divergent, selection , lunar chronicles
If you want to start off with fantasy I would really recommend Harry Potter l, the books are amazing and you’ll completely get absorbed in the world and fandom. they’re pretty easy to read too, especially the first three books.
If you want literary fiction you could read Khalid hosseni- A thousand splendid sons, Kite runner, And the mountains echoed.
I haven’t read some of these books but I’ve heard really nice things about them so u can check them out and see

Read anything that Gillian Flynn has written – I would start with Gone Girl
