I recently read Shelf Life by Robert Corbet, and really enjoyed it. It felt a bit too YA for me, but I liked the general concept. Basically what I'm looking for is a book with a reasonably light tone focusing on the lives of a group of coworkers, both in their interactions with each other at work, and also to a degree, their outside personal lives. Preferably looking for something in a grocery or hardware store, as that's where I've had the most personal experience, and can relate more, but anything with that concept would be great, honestly. Something like the early seasons of the Office would be almost perfect.
