I just finished the road by Cormac McCarthy. I loved it, it was probably my only 5 star book of the year. I want to read some more of McCarthy, but I’m unsure where to even start. What drew me into this book was the relationship between the two character, not necessarily the plot. Is there a specific book of his I should read next?

Blood Meridian is one of the finest books I have ever read. Also one of the grimmest, darkest tales. Almost entirely drawn from real characters and events, which makes the whole thing even harsher.
