I'm open to non-fantasy suggestions too, but at a lower priority.
I've been hung up on Fourth Wing ever since I read that last year, and nothing's come close to it for me. Yes, that includes ACOTAR which if I'm being honest, aside from ACOMAF specifically, the other books in that series didn't really do it for me.
