Hi, everyone!
I'm looking for books that have an excess of creativity, its fantasy unbidden by anything. I don't want to recognize the weird creatures nor understand what's happening. I just want to enjoy a colorful, weird and (especially) beautiful story. Something like a dream journal from a lighthearted kid.
My references are "Spirited Away" and "The Boy and the Heron" from Hayao Miyazaki.

The Night Circus!!!!!
The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman. Surreal fantastical story about a man who returns to his childhood home and encounters otherworldly creatures.
The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. Whimsical journey through a quirky world with lots of wordplay.
