One shot/ short Book rec

Hey all! I’m planning on going to the beach all day and I’m looking for some book recommendations to read on the beach. I’d like something short because I’d like to finish it all in one go while i’m relaxing. Some fantasy/ supernatural YA is my usual ball park but I’m open to other things. I don’t want to worry about starting a series because I’m a very inconsistent reader. Let me know about anything good y’all have. Thank you!
