A non fiction book that reads like a well written novel about ancient history or philosophy

(I have read Sophie's world btw!!)

The ancient history can be either Greek or Roman, they're still both cool af

I want to learn more about ancient in general and I thought a good book that doesn't read like a boring non fiction will help!!!
