I’m looking for a book

I read it a few years ago and I've been desperately trying to find it to see if the third book is out. The plot;

A young girl is in a sort of institution where they give everybody pills to suppress their powers (I think). She runs away after being introduced to a man and winds up being saved and given to her uncle. I can't remember much else but at the end of the second book she Over doses😭

Does anyone know the title? Please! 😂😂
