I recently finished a trilogy called Gate of Myth and Power by KM Shea. Basically the plot goes like inthe world of supernatural, a girl, a human can turn into a house cat and she is adopted by a King who doesn't actually know she's a human.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series however it wasn't the best.
