I’ve always known there was conflict between the Allies and Germans in Africa, but I’ve never learned much about it. I don’t do well with textbook style history, so if you recommend non-fiction (which I’m sure all the suggestions will be), please suggest something that reads well narratively. I’d be open to fiction novels centered around this time period / series of events.
