I just finished reading this, and really enjoyed it. I also read the Toff on the farm and Loved that too, but right now can’t get hold of anymore books from the series (even though I know there are others, quite a few others!)
Basically, a detective lives at home with a butler/ servant, and he ends up being dragged in to a mystery which he didn’t actually intend to get involved in.
