Looking for books with amazing, resourceful, unshakable, tough, confident characters to inspire me.

I'm going through a phase where most things seem bleak and unfair but I'm trying to remain positive, optimistic and feel good about myself. I want a character that goes against the odds but is always sure he/she is going to be fine. Examples that come to mind are Reacher from the Lee Child series, Locke Lamora, Mitch Rapp or Kaladin for way of kings (I know he is more "human" and pessimistic than the others but his journey is really inspiring)… Thanks a lot!
