Book suggestions which written by Indian

I tried read a book just now I have completed many but this book I just can't read it because of the English words used it's like I have to use dictionary to see the meaning and the sentence formation used I just can't understand must be too old iam just thinking to read Indian author books from now on any suggestions I might be dumb for this
