Which Chuck Pallahnuck book to start my fiancee on?

I've been a fan of his writing ever since high school! I'm trying to decide which book to have my partner start on (audible) but I'm having a hard time deciding between survivor, invisible monsters, and fight club.

Any youth abuse or extreme gore would preferably be avoided, though I know you can only avoid so much with his books. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be amazing! Thank you so much!
