So I have a five year old stepdaughter. Her mother passed away earlier this year from cancer. I’ve introduced her to the library and the wonderful world of books and she’s absolutely loving it. I’m looking for any books that talk about mothers passing away, and also any books that talk about having a stepmom.
Bonus points if there are any books where the characters are Black my stepdaughter and her mom are Black.
