I'm recently in the mood to read a book with summoner mc, but all the books i find feel more like beast taming. So to specify I'm looking for something that goes more into the mystical side of summoning.
For example
Communicating with beings from other planes of existence
Having to struggle with actually controlling what you are summoning
Stuff like rituals
Complex but good magical world build
If someone has an idea for a book that fits these points points or something similar i would appreciate all suggestions.
